About Us
The City of Maplewood's Human Services Commission formed the "Maplewood Community Growth Fund" in 2023 to raise funds to help meet the basic needs of residents and individuals in Maplewood. In 2024, the Fund spun off from the City as it's own 501c3 nonprofit operating as the Maplewood Community Fund. While we stay connected to the City, we are a fully independent non-profit. All donations to the Fund are tax deductible.

In 2023 and 2024 we interviewed dozens of Maplewood service providers and community leaders about the needs they see in our community. They named issues such as housing insecurity, paying for food or utilities, childcare, and one-time emergency expenses. Through fundraising and a grant-making process we will work to alleviate these challenges.

In the Fall of 2025 we will have our first grant-making process where individuals and organizations can apply for funds to support the needs of folks in Maplewood. Be sure to join our mailing list to receive these updates.
